The Baroness Rothschild is one of the best forms of Hybrid perpetuals ever bred. it was bred in France by PernetPere in 1868 and like its group name suggests, its large and shallow cupped, deep pink lightly scented blooms flower all summer long.
These are offset by the greyish green healthy foliage and strong upright thorny stems. This growth makes them prefect for growing amongst other plants in a beautiful cottage garden style. It grows up to 1.2m tall and 90cm wide.
It prefers a well drained but humus rich soil and a site where it can enjoy the sun for many hours of the day.
