now this is one of my favourite roses, This moss rose stuns us with not only its deep red flowers that are carried on the prickly stems on and off all summer long but the scent from this rose is just a nasal delight!
William Lobb makes a large shrub rose or indeed a small climbing rose. like all other heritage roses, it will grow happily in good loamy soil or pretty poor soils. It is very disease resistant and loves a sunny spot in the garden.
Bred in france in 1855 by Laffay, it was named after the great Cornish plant hunter William Lobb
Each rose comes with its own aluminium plant label, a factsheet about the rose and how to look after it and enough mycorrhizal for planting the rose, ensuring that your plant gets off to the best possible start
